Mandawa is a small town that lies in the heart of Shekhawati region of the state Rajasthan.  Mandawa is well-known for different havelis and baolis of bygone era. It was settled during 18th century by the merchants of the village and constructed beautiful havelis with colored painting on the walls. Mandawa Fort

This fort is one of the most famous forts in Mandawa. Like many historic homes, Castle Mandawa, is a curious mixture of the old and the new. This place was known as ‘Mandu ki dhani’, ‘Mandu ka bas’ or ‘Manduwas’ which changed to Mandawa. It is such a great attraction for tourists as it helps in revealing a lot about the rich history.

    Train - Nearest Railway Station to reach Mandawara are Mukundgarh -14 kms and Jhunjhunu (Shekhawati) 22 kms that is well connected with Delhi, Jaipur and other towns and cities of Rajasthan.

    Road - Mandawa city is well connected with other major cities. The Rajasthan State Road Transport Corporation runs deluxe and semi-deluxe buses connecting to nearby cities like Delhi, Jaipur etc. You can also avail buses and private cabs to reach Mandawa.
