JAISALMER

Jaisalmer is situated amidst the picturesque Thar Desert that attracts most of the tourists and visitors. It is also known as ‘The Golden City’ of Rajasthan. Major Attractions of Ajmer

Jaisalmer Fort

Jaisalmer Fort is one of the major tourist attractions in Rajasthan and one of the largest fortifications in the world. It is also known as Golden Fort. It was constructed by Rawal Jaisal, one of the Rajput rulers in 1156AD.

BadaBagh

Bada Bagh means Big Garden. It is one of the most tourist visiting places in Jaisalmer. It is a small beautiful place just few kms from the city. This is surely the best tourist spot Jaisalmer has to offer, after the Fort. It is also believed as Ghost city or mysterious place.

Patwon-Ki-Haveli

Patwon Ji ki Haveli is an interesting piece of Architecture and is the most important among the havelis in Jaisalmer. This haveli is presently occupied by the government, which uses it for various purposes. It is also known as the 'mansion of brocade merchants'. This haveli that is constructed in traditional Rajasthani style is opened for all types of tourist who want to visit.

Sam Sand Dunes

Feel the magic of staying right in front of Sam Sand Dunes of Jaisalmer. There are some Desert Camps where you can take camel safaris and organises exclusive camel safaris in Thar Desert as they has their own camels that will gives you ultimate pleasure.

Gadisar Lake

It is one of the primary tourist attractions of the region. Gadsisar Lake is one of the major tourist attractions of Jaisalmer. To take some mesmerizing snaps good quality of camera is must.     Airport - Nearest airport is Jodhpur airport which is approx. 275 kilometers away from Jaisalmer. It is well connected with other major cities like Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata etc.

    Train - Jaisalmer Railway Station is connected with all major cities of Rajasthan and other nearby cities outside Rajasthan. The station is well-connected with major Indian cities like Delhi, Mumbai, Jaipur, etc.

    Road - Jaisalmer city is well connected with other major cities. The Rajasthan State Road Transport Corporation runs deluxe and semi-deluxe buses connecting to nearby cities like Delhi, Jaipur, Udaipur, Jodhpur etc. You can also avail buses and private cabs to reach Ajmer.
