Bikaner is a vibrant city founded by Rao Bikaji in the year1488 AD. This is also another popular city in the state of Rajasthan. Junagarh Fort

Junagarh Fort was originally called Chintamani or Old Fort and is situated in the city of Bikaner. It is very well maintained place by the officials.This place is a must for avid travelers & photographers. These buildings depict a composite culture, manifest in the mix of architectural styles. The palaces worth visiting are Chandra Mahal, Phool Mahal and Karan Mahal. There is also a museum where you can explore some antiques that are related to the fort.

Lalgarh Palace

It is one of the most magnificent palaces in Bikaner built with red standstone. Here you can see mixed architectural styles of Rajput, Mughal and European. It was built between 1902 and 1926. Now it has been converted to heritage hotel. This is an amazing hotel and full of history and it really is quite grand, the grounds are lovely to just wonder around in.

Prachina Museum

In the year 2000, this museum was established as Bikaner Cultural Center and Museum that was established by Siddhi Kumari daughter of Late Maharaja Narendra Singhji of Bikaner. It contains a lot of dresses, cushions, rugs, utensils etc from the royal family.

Bhandeshwar Jain Temples

Dating back to the 15th century, it is one of the most significant Jain temple of the city and also a historic place of worship. The temple is decorated with gold-leaf work, beautiful sculpted pillars, and floral designs. It was built in the honour of 23rd Jain Tirthankar Parshvanathji. It is one of the pilgrimage places in the state of Rajasthan.

Camel Breeding Farm or Camel Research Farm

Camel Breeding Farm is one of the most major tourist attractions in Bikaner. The only of its kind in Asia, the farm produces the fastest moving Camels in the world. It is also known as camel research Farm. The farm permits tourists at certain time and enjoy camel ride and have pure ice cream made of Camel milk.

    Road - The Rajasthan State Road Transport Corporation runs deluxe and semi-deluxe buses connecting Bikaner to nearby cities like Delhi, Jaipur, Udaipur, Jodhpur and Jaisalmer etc. You can also avail Volvo buses and private cabs to reach Bikaner
